Peter Ceredig-Evans graduated from Bath School of Art and Design in 2011 after growing up in Cornwall. Working in oils, Peter depicts subjects from rural landscapes, creating a sense of place with visual suggestions of memory that allow the audience to connect with the work on a personal level. His inspiration for these atmospheric, dream-like paintings comes from his time by the sea in Sennen, Cornwall. Peter describes “an overwhelming sense of isolation and space”, which he relished, and it is these emotions that he reproduces in his work.
