Malcolm Ashman works in oils, acrylics and pencil, the landscape and the figure are his principal subjects. He is an academician at the Royal West of England Academy, a member of the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Bath Society of Artists.  

 

Ashman regularly exhibits in London and the south of England, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Threadneedle Prize and the Royal Watercolour Society, Bankside Gallery, London. His paintings can be found in the collections of Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, The Marquis of Bath, John Harvey of Bristol, The Victoria Gallery Bath and Royal Bank of Scotland.
