Ken Smith, born in 1944, is an established sculptor, workingin in stone and bronze. His work was critically acknowledged from a young age by academics and writers, including Henry Moore. Ken Smith's work has been exhibited in London, across England and Spain. In this exhibition, a range of works examine aspects of human emotion drawn from a lifetime of connections made from his travels and experiences.
Ken Smith studied sculpture and printmaking at Yeovil College 1962/1964 2; Walthamstow College of Art 1967/1968 and Bristol College of Art 1972/1975. He has had solo exhibitions of his sculpture in London, Bath and Mallorca and has exhibited at the Royal Academy. His work is in the U.K., Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, U.S.A., Japan, China and South Africa.
