Rebecca Lisle

7 September - 1 October 2018

Selected for the Sculpture Prize at this year’s Bath Society of Artists Open Exhibition, Rebecca Lisle has been invited to show for the first time with  David Simon Contemporary. This latest body of sculpture has been created from found wooden objects. The nature of the materials being ‘re-purposed’ results in beautiful objects that have a sense of age and patina to them. Many of the forms have been developed from the artist’s lifelong study of botany, depicting ideas of seed heads, flower patterns and root and stem cross-sections.
