Peter Lloyd-Jones' recent body of work focuses on paintings of the landscape and coast of Maine, USA, as wel as a series of still lifes in ink on paper. His paintings have an energy to them that brings life to his compositions whether looking at landscape or still life. They are intrinsically English with a contemporary flair.
Peter Lloyd-Jones, born 1956, studied at Ruskin School of Drawing and Art from 1977-1979, continued to read Fine Art for his Post Graduate Degree at Oxford and went on to study ay the Royal Academy of Arts from 1980-1983. His painting has continued to attract favourable reviews and critiques including in the Arts Review, Country Life, The Spectator and The Oxford Times. Lloyd-Jones has exhibited regularly in London, Oxford and Maine, U.S.A.
