Hubbard has three different practices – linocut printmaking, painting and marquetry-based constructions.
Hannah Ivory Baker
Hannah Ivory Baker’s work is inspired by the natural world; the rugged Cornish coast to the serenity of the Somerset levels, all of which provide a wealth of artistic opportunity, creative interpretation and expression. Each pieces is derived from a plein air sketch done in oil or charcoal. She has exhibited regularly across the south west of England and in London.
Honor Jolliffe
Honor Jolliffe completed her Foundation in Art and Design at Falmouth School
of Art, before studying languages and enjoying a career in international human rights work. Twenty-five
years later, she returned to painting full-time. She has also been studying drawing – and by extension
painting – with Saied Dai and Charlotte Sorapure for the last six years. In Honor’s work there can be seen a strong love of colour, structure, form and pattern and an enjoyment of finding a beauty in simple everyday objects.
Andrew Lansley
Andrew Lansley, winner of Bath Society of Artists’ ‘David Simon Contemporary Award’ 2017, works in egg tempera, focusing on landscape and marine subjects. Lansley is the current Chairman of Bath
Society of Artists. He won the 2016 Royal Watercolour Society Award and has exhibited at the Royal Academy, RWA and numerous shows at the Mall Galleries, including the Royal Institute of Painters in

His work is in many distinguished private collections as well as the Dorset County Hospital Art Collection, Great Ormond Street Hospital, St George’s Hospital Tooting and the Fidelity International Art Collection.
Mike Service
Mike Service trained in Fine Art at Bath Spa University after taking early retirement from his first career. Over the past few years Mike Service has exhibited his paintings widely in the UK including in Bath London and at the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol. He has also undertaken a
number of private commissioned works.
Painting in oils with palette knife and brush, there is a spontaneity and speed to his work, which creates a lively and active composition with a carefully considered, limited colour palette. Taking
inspiration from Nicolas de Stael, Service has an adept talent with his palette knife and it is his clever
approach to semi-figurative painting that keeps his paintings always full of constant interest to the
viewer. Whether painting still-life subjects or the landscapes of Ile de Ré, Salema or the Somerset hills, one is always struck by the artist’s clear enjoyment and skill of handling paint. First
solo exhibition with David Simon Contemporary 2019.
