Linzi West
Based in the West Country, Linzi West makes earthenware plates and terracotta flower pots at her studio, and takes them with her on train journeys, rather than a sketch book. Choosing the faces of
strangers that catch her attention, she then paints directly onto the ceramics, before applying a final glaze and firing them in the kiln. Each 'Person Plate' comes with a luggage tag with details of
the particular journey they made.
