David Simon is an established fine art specialist with a professional career managing & curating contemporary galleries and artists over the last eighteen years. His specialism is Contemporary and Modern British paintings, sculpture and ceramics. Starting his career at, and eventually managing Francis Kyle Gallery, a leading contemporary gallery in Mayfair, London, he has represented some of the most familiar names in modern British art and curated exhibitions in Miami, France and Italy. David has worked in collaboration with Tate St Ives, Victoria and Albert Museum, National Theatre, Royal West of England Academy as well as other national galleries. He established his first gallery in Bristol in 2006, before moving the business to Bath in 2014.
David Simon Contemporary, winner of 'Best Independent Retailer in Bath Award 2016', shows established and emerging British artists with a focus on semi-figurative work, through a programme of monthly exhibitions.
