Biography

Louise Balaam trained at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, before attaining her MA in Fine Art from University College, Canterbury. She is a member of the New English Art Club and of the Royal West of England Academy. Balaam's paintings have been included in the Royal Academy Summer Show, Threadneedle Prize, Lynn Painter-Stainer Prize, and Discerning Eye exhibitions.

 

National painting prizes include the Odin Trust Prize (2010), Royal West of England Academy, Bristol and Highly Commended, Chichester Open Art Exhibition (2007).
